These terms govern your use of handsofatlas.com, operated by Hands of Atlas LLC. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

What this site currently is

The site is a pre-launch page. It presents the brand and takes email addresses for the launch waiting list. Nothing on it is an offer to sell, and no order can be placed here yet. When the shop opens, sale terms will be published and will govern purchases.

The waiting list

Joining the list costs nothing and commits you to nothing. It does not reserve a piece, hold a price, or guarantee availability. You can leave at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by writing to contact@handsofatlas.com. Please submit only an address that is yours to give.

Our work and our name

The Hands of Atlas name, the cradle mark, the photography, the written words and the design of this site belong to Hands of Atlas LLC or are used with permission. You may view and share the page. You may not copy the images or the text for commercial use, pass our designs off as your own, or use our name or mark in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission.

About the pieces shown

Our lamps are raised, pierced and finished by hand. No two are identical, and small variations in pattern, hammering and patina are inherent to the craft rather than defects. Brass is a living material: it darkens and develops a patina with time and handling. Photographs are taken honestly, but screens differ, and lit brass in particular photographs warmer than it may appear in your room. Stated dimensions are the sizes a piece is made in, with the usual small tolerances of handwork.

Using the site properly

Please do not attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site, submit other people's data, or use automated means to flood the waiting list. We may withdraw access to anyone doing so.

Availability and accuracy

We aim to keep the site up and its content accurate, but we do not promise it will always be available or entirely free of error, and we may change or withdraw any part of it at any time.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this pre-launch site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction, without depriving you of any protection granted by the mandatory law of the country where you live.
