Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Hands of Atlas LLC ("we", "us") does with your personal information when you use handsofatlas.com. We have written it in plain language because a policy nobody can read protects nobody.

The short version

Right now this site does one thing: it takes an email address for the launch waiting list. We do not run analytics, we do not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone, ever.

What we collect

• Your email address, only if you type it into the waiting list form and submit it.
• Ordinary server logs kept by our hosting provider, which include IP address, browser type and the time of the request. These are generated automatically by the act of loading any website.

We do not ask for your name, address, phone number or payment details on this site, and there is nowhere to enter them.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use your email address to tell you when the first collection opens, and for occasional news about the brand. That is it. Where the law requires a legal basis, ours is your consent, given when you submit the form. Server logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.

Who processes it for us

We keep the operation deliberately small. These providers process data on our behalf, and none of them are permitted to use it for their own purposes:

• Vercel hosts the site and its server logs.
• Supabase stores the waiting list.
• MailerSend delivers the emails we send you.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces. Loading a font makes a request to Google, which means Google receives your IP address. If you would rather it did not, a content blocker will stop it and the page still works.

Our providers are based in the United States, so if you are outside the US your information is transferred there and handled under their own safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you ask us to remove it, or until the waiting list has served its purpose and we close it. Unsubscribing removes you from the list. There is no penalty and no follow-up.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. If you are in the UK, the EU, or a US state with its own privacy law such as California, those rights are yours by statute; we extend the same treatment to everyone regardless. Write to contact@handsofatlas.com and we will action it. We will not charge you and we will not make you justify the request.

Security, honestly stated

The waiting list sits behind access rules that allow new entries to be added but prevent the list from being read back by the public site. Traffic is encrypted in transit. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise; if a breach ever affects your information we will tell you promptly.

Children

This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

When this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant and we hold your email address, we will tell you directly.
